Terrible Week but Gained Good Experience

The start of the week for Deca Internationals was on April 22, 2010. In the very beginning, I was already mad at my parents because they would not let me bring my PSP on the bus. They told me I should study because I would be on the bus for 11 hours but I usually get car sick once I read books too long so I know studying would not be a choice when I was on the bus. At the end, I slept at 4am without being able to bring my PSP. I woke up at 8am to board the bus to Kentucky.
The bus ride was pretty awesome because we watched 4 movies non-stop with tons of action, guns, death, blood, and romance. They are "The Ugly Truth", "Death and the Funeral", "Hot Fuzz"(personally think is the best one) and the other one I forgot. It had definitely help pass the time because I cannot imagine sitting on the bus for 11 hours just studying.
The rest of the week was pretty normal because Kentucky was only famous for its KFC because KFC's headquarters was located there. Unfortunately, we had not come upon any KFC and I was truly disappointed. I visited a number of malls with friends but I had bought nothing because I was just poor, went to eat at restaurants and BOY, the food was expensive, slept at the Holiday Inn Hotel which had pretty bad service because we had a broken coffee boiler, broken hair dryer and our room just stinked really badly. Our room was really stinky because of a week old chicken nuggets from McDonald. We slept at 3-4am every night because of either studying or gaming or youtubing.
Last day was Prom night and I went to there with high hopes. I asked a girl twice to dance with me but all she said was she wanted to dance with her friends. That had left me heartbroken and unwanted And then when I arrived at the hotel, I realized that I had left my blazer at the prom place. I thought I was screwed but in the next morning, I found it and I was relieved.

Worried

Yesterday, I just hit my leg trying to do a no-hand jump up a stage. I saw a friend do it and succeed. I tried myself thinking, how hard can it be, but I had hit my knee against the stage as I was jumping up. I heard a loud bump and my knee hurt and that was when I knew I will start limping. As I predicted, while I was marching, I was limping, it was really really obvious. Oh well, I hope it heals soon because I need to leave for Kentucky soon.

Today, I have been studying hard for my biology summative that is coming up on the dissection of fetal pig, frog and earthworm. Doing the dissection wasn't that hard but it was really bad though because of the smell and the juices. However, having to memorize over 40 terms and their functions has made my brain boggle.
Moving on, I have an interview tomorrow morning at 7:30 when school starts at 10:15. This really sucks because it takes me about 20 minutes to return home and then 20 minutes coming back to school. I would have wasted 40 minutes going back and to school. I need to continue studying for the summative or I will definitely fail. It is very difficult to think of what the organ is after seeing like pretty bad, black and white drawings of a pig's organs.

All worn out

Nothing interesting happened on Friday, just the usual yelling of my teachers about not being late to class, doing your homework, not playing in class, not sleeping in class, not talking, not reading manga/comic books etc. Teachers yell at everything you do other than staring at them teach their boring lessons. I mean I could just read off the textbook and understand the material so much faster than having a teacher blabber on and on in the lesson. My mind just wanders off and think about other things such as video games, her ,etc. There are some teachers who bore me while others just make me all interested and my attention is all on the teacher. Then I hear the bell ring and I feel that the class was very short and time went by too fast.

Today on the other hand, was another tiring day. I woke up to feel tired as usual and wanted to go back to sleep. There are those days, when I just wake up to feel that I am tired and I just want to go back to sleep and dream about her. Oh well, I gotta go finish my homework and there is first-aid class that I need to go to.

Cities

Today was a sad day for me. I lost in Cities and I won't be able to move on to OFFSAA. Apparently, it would be 4 days 3 nights of chilling. I fought really hard during my game but it was not enough when I was playing people who actually trained. If I had trained, I think I would have been even better than them and win. Oh well, its over now and my badminton career is finally done for this year. Next year I will be aiming for this goal as a doubles player or mixed. Our game lasted from 9am to 9pm and that is almost over 10 hours of none stop badminton action. You can't get bored of a good game of badminton.

Sigh

Today was an early day and I had to wake up at 6:00 so freaking early. I mean who wants to wake up at 6:00 for a badminton practice but oh well I woke up and I won't be able to sleep. When I went to my first period class, my teacher immediately handed me a sheet which was actually the paper I had written my in-class essay on but I wasn't actually in her class when I wrote it. I was at another school. She said she would not accept it because I didn't do the work in her class and this was violating her rules. I mean how could I go to her class when during that time I was playing a badminton game at AY Jackson. She is just so unreasonable. I don't want to argue with her anymore she is just nonsense and I can't take it anymore. OUR PLAN to stop this everlasting problem was to have all the class write a letter to the office stating our concerns and our hatred to this teacher. Apparently, she had been on the verge of being suspended already. I mean a teacher getting suspended but she didn't. She had looked into a student's planner and inside the planner, the student had written many offensive words in it and insulted her big time. When she held this book in the class, at first no one had answered. It was all quiet and we could see the angry look she had. Then one of my classmates had said it was his and then her wrath came down upon him like lightning. She immediately bursted into a big ball of flame and started hurling comments about not insulting her husband because he had nothing to do with her. The student just let her blabber on and on until she said she would like to have a talk with his parents. sigh he's in big trouble I thought but instead I was astonished, his brother/guardian had come into the class on the next day. Unfortunately I wasn't there but I had overheard it from my classmates. His brother had come in with his suit and profession looks and walked straight to my teacher and had a long chat with him. The teacher was owned because according to the law, she was not supposed to invade into someone's privacy and She GOT OWNED BIG TIME.

Tired

Schedule:

Tuesday: Duddy Kravitz ch 1-7 test, Picaro Test
Wednesday: Badminton Cities
Thursday: Food For Life Meeting
Friday: Chem Test, Math Test

Yet again, I still have no time to update my blog and 3 days have passed since I had updated it. I am getting bad at trying to fulfill my goal of updating my blog daily. *sigh* Oh well, I am trying and the effort is what counts.

Today was SJA(St. John's) day where we learned more first-aid and I had to continually practice my first aid skills which is good for Ontario Open. However at the Ontario Open, I will most likely just sit there for the whole entire day while my partners are competing because I am a substitute. What a bummer and the thing is, it is mandatory that I go but what can I do there? I just sit and watch and have a good learning experience. GREAT!.

Long Day

Today has been a long day for me, and I am surprised that I haven't updated this blog in a while which is actually only 4 days. That is a long time, its 4 days = 96 hrs = 5760 min = 345600 sec = 20736000 millisec = 1244160000 milli-millisec and my brain ends there.

Well back to Thursday, I had a long day of school and finished my Leadership Council Executive application. After school, I went to a party where we just played Mario Cart on the DS for like 2 hours with potato chips and coke. After that it was back home where I finished my homework.

Friday was the end of the regionals match for me and I placed 3rd. I wasn't proud of myself though ..because I could have done better. I lost to Steve Li AGAIN! However our whole school completely dominated the regionals. We won like 4 plaques this year winning every part, singles, doubles, mixed and overall. Therefore I got 2 medals with a 1st and a 3rd. I returned home to find out that I had a meeting with a couple of partners on our competition. Then I went

Still Sick maybe more

My schedule for this week
Thursday: badminton practice aftersku(because I made it to cities), work on WindEng, Handball party
Friday: Finals for Regionals(I will be fighting for 3rd or 4th medal), fellowship for church
Saturday: First Aid Training for Ontario Open First Aid Competition
Sunday: Deca Mandatory Meeting for Internationals, wont be able to go to church

Today was a hard regional's match for me. First of all I was sick, had sore throat throughout the day although I took my medicine: Robitussen... a really really concentrated medicine that tastes so bad. I have always drank this medicine ever since I was little and I always ate dried sweet mangoes to go with it. Now, I am older and I can bear this drug. However during the 8 hours of my day at AYJ, I had a sore throat and I had to burrow hall's from a lot of people. Although it had helped me soothe the pain from my throat. I could never finish the whole candy because my games were always so soon, less than an hour apart. I couldn't even eat lunch because I was nervous and my throat hurt. I was starving for the whole day except when my saviour came. I will talk about this later on in my blog. I will finish talking about my games. My games were awful, when I got to my 3rd round of singles games. I had to play Steve Li again and I lost sadly with a score of 21-16, 21-16. I think I could have done better and I think I had the ability to have beat him although he trains at Troy's. Beware!! Troy's is a badminton training place where you do not get to start your lesson unless you do 200 double jumps. If you dont do it, you will have to do 2000 double jumps at the end of the training. That is Scary. Unfortunately, me on the other hand, I don't train anymore and my skills have been deteriorating. That may be one of the reasons I lost. Oh well, I will play him in Cities I hope and to beat him.
Back to my Saviour part, we got congee from Congee Queen. I think the congee was ok.. and they charged us $3.50 for like a small bowl of congee. That is just sad man, first its expensive and it is not even that good. The congee was like the only food I ate though because it was soft and my throat couldn't take the hard, chunky food.

Cough Cough Sick

I just got some kind of cold today. This is saddening because I have a regional's game tomorrow at 7:30 at AYJ. I have a sore throat and my parents say that I would need to go to the doctor soon. Darn it. One reason why I hate the doctor is because the line-up is so long every single time because of those old people always taking a long time. no offence to old people. They are old and they will get sick easily. The other reason is, I always wait like over an hour for my appointment and when I go in, it takes like 5 min to finish. DARN YOU COLD GET AWAY FROM ME *COUGH COUGH*
Today was a fun day I guess except the morning, it was raining terribly. I biked in the rain and was all wet and stuff because I decided to go without a jacket and just with my T-shirt. And now I have my sore throat. It is killing me right now. I slept like 4 hrs after I got home and just got up to do my hwk. Sigh... I wanna game so badly any games good for me.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Darn it. Y am I always 1 day late in updating my blog. I just don't seem to have the time to update the present day. GRR!!

Oh well. Moving on! Yesterday we went to Kenny's house to work on our WindEng contest but we accomplished so little things that it is like nothing after spending like 4 hrs there. We were watching Peter Chao vids and playing with the rabbit. The rabbit is so awesome it keeps running around no matter how you hold on to it. Then there were the hamsters, they were so cuddly and funny looking. We did start our video which we took short clips of us making a short speech on our school like Hi my name is blah blah and this is our school *points to school* and yea... pretty much it.
We went to play Super Smash BRAWL on the WIIII!! I can never get bored of that game especially when I play against my friends. Maybe it is because I dont own a Wii so I wont get bored of that game but I have been improving at that game from like 3 times of playing it. My fav character is Marth. He is awesome but Ike isnt that bad. He has slow attacks though which is not that good. I owned my friend with Marth which I am always using. That will be my character from now on because it is just so good. Well in my opinion.

After that I got back home to finish my hwk.

Horrible Day

This was supposed to be for yesterday: April 4, 2010. I couldn't write yesterday because I was just so sad *crying* well kinda.

Today was supposed to be a good day, it was nice, sunny and warm and I woke up in the morning to go to church. It was a good learning experience for me at church because today was a big day. IT IS RESURRECTION DAY. seems pretty scary but its something all Christians are happy about I think. Today is the day Jesus had reborn from his tombstone and we were all rejoicing apparently singing songs, eating cookies and tea, and Ivy said "I am bald" that was a mean thing IVY. Oh well. When church started, we had an actor or some dude who mimes and it was pretty interesting and well-prepared and as we got to the end. A video was played which was really not that good in my opinion because all the voices were blurry and etc. In Sunday School, we played salad bowl where we write a word/phrase and put into a box. Then people draw the slips of paper with the word/phrase out and try to say words that describe the word/phrase. As the round finished, we had harder rounds were people were only allowed to act the word/phrase out and even harder was to say only one word to describe the word/phrase. Basically its like charades but tougher.

I was a little excited about some of my friend's baptism which was supposed to start at 4pm and I went home because church ended at 1pm. I didn't want to stay at the church for 3 hrs doing nothing. I had slept until 3:45 and began to dress up to go to church. Just then, my parents stop me and tell me that I need to finish the chores before I go to the baptism. I am like you could have told me this earlier, but all they said was, "I didn't know that you had to leave so soon." I replied, I could do them later when I get back but noooo.. they dislike my idea. I was not happy but I listened, so I did my chores and it was already 4. I knew.. ok I will be late now and I was getting ready to go. My parents then stopped me again, asking if I finished my homework and I was not happy about this so I went to argue with them for 2 and a half hours of non-stop yelling and I beat them through logic. However as they were being beaten down by my yelling, they said this is my house and this is their rules. As their son, I am supposed to listen to them. BS man.

I was sad so I went to sleep until 9pm and as I got up I needed to finish my homework. I am terribly sorry for those people that I have missed their baptism. I had tried my best in going but my parents are jerks and I mean it. Sorry to Glory, Siena, Lowell, Derek and etc? I had written cards to congratulate your baptism but I guess it will have to wait till next week or later.

BTW I missed seeing you guyz get dunked

Good, cloudy day

For someone it might not be a good day because its cloudy. Her mood is affected by the weather which seems kind of unusual. Well hope its a good day for you.

Today I woke up at 1pm again. Not unusual because I am a sleep-lover. At 2pm I went back to sleep for another hour!? So in total I have slept 13 hours!!! Moving On! Today I learned a very important lesson, that I am just a small ant in a world or "the frog in the well". I have opened my eyes to see all the wonders in this world. There is so many things I want to learn.
Let me list some out:
Getting better at mando (my teacher just yelled at me for not learning mando fast enough) Like FAST ENOUGH!? how do you learn a language fast, you need to get to know and understand the language before you can actually speak it well. Oh well I cant argue with a mando teacher in mando anyways So i just gave up.

Suddenly I forgot the rest!. Oh well

There is another thing I always see: SMOKING
When I walk out the door of my apartment, I see smokers everywhere and in all ages from oldish 60+ to 20+. When I walk through the streets, I pass by smokers and I see people smoking in their cars as well. AND YOU know what!? after they finish smoking they just throw the cigarette on the ground. I mean what a waste, you could resmoke it I guess but it is littering as well.
There is an idea that smoking takes away all the stress and I hope its true because it would help to relieve my stress.

First Day of Fun on Good Friday

WOW!!! It has been a week since I have updated this blog. That is both a sad and a good thing. Sad for not being able to update this blog everyday. But good because I was just too busy to use my time on updating my daily blog.

Brief Description of what I have been doing over the past week

Monday: I finished my accounting project at 3am in the morning on Monday believing that it was due that day. After arriving at the school all tired and stuff, my teacher tells me its due on April 1 which is a Thursday. I am like: "Are you kidding me!? You made me waste like 4 hrs working on this report to find that it will be due in 4 days!? I wasted 4 hrs of my sleeping time!?" Anyways she shouldn't be blamed for this because it was mostly my fault for not reading the instructions. Bleh! Then I had my Law presentation with an awesome movie that my partner had made. It was epic with the police chasing the runaway cars and stuff. It was AMAZING!

Tuesday: Final day of Junior Achievement. We had lotsa lotsa pizza. I ate 7 slices =P because I was starving the whole day and the pizzas were really really good. Then we watched Sherlock Holmes and I thought it a was very good movie personally. However I saw many of my friends just leave because they were bored. One of them said they have watched it before and it was a very complicated movie. I thought it was so cool with all the murder and stuff. and Yes I might seem like a guy who likes people dying but No I am someone who wont do it.
I loved the parts when Sherlock Holmes and his friend uncover mysteries in the movie.
It starts out with Lord Voldermort (or w/e his name is) who is an evil dark mage has been hanged. Before he gets hanged, he tells Sherlock that there will be 3 deaths that he will not be able to stop. However after like 5 days or so, someone sees him revive from the dead. SCARY!!!
and in his place is a dead body with worms and flys on it. EWWW! Then the adventure begins on how Sherlock stops Lord Voldermort's plan to rule the world. His plan was to bomb the parliament of US or Whitehouse but of course, he doesnt succeed because Sherlock Holmes comes to save the day. For those of you planning to watch Sherlock Holmes, I am terribly sorry, I just spoiled most of the movie, but I think its a really good movie and I definitely suggest people to watch it.

Wednesday: Last day before exam, I am working away on my study sheet and beginning to study for the exam that will be on Thursday. Oh man. I am pretty screwed. I am just gonna go to bed dreaming about the things I have studied on.

Thursday: MY EXAM! I come to school ready to study for my exam to find new comic novels in the library. Oh man and during the day I am finishing my comic books when I should be studying for the Exam coming up in 4 hrs. I finish my comic books pretty fast and start studying for the exam in class while someone is doing a presentation. It is now 1 hr before the exam and I have arrived at the school where the exams are taking place. I sleep for 30 minutes and then continue studying. Inside the cafeteria, where all the exams are being held, I start the 11 page exam with a blank mind because I have completely forgotten all the material I have studied for the past 48 hrs. Luckily I remember it after like 10 minutes into the exam and I start rushing to finish it within the 2 hrs. Although there were many questions that I have studied for, there were some questions that had baffled me and I had to make up and relate stuff that I know to answer the questions. Overall, I think I achieved high 80's, but I hope for a 90+ because it is a university course. GOOD LUCK TO ME!

Friday: FINALLY GOOD FRIDAY. School is off and I get to sleep in until 1pm. I wake up to being yelled at by my parents to start studying chinese and I am continually being yelled at while studying chinese for not studying hard enough. I learn to hold my anger and to think about other things while my parents are yelling at me. That is something that I will remember when I get yelled at. and now I am doing my hwk on a sunny and 2nd day of April and I have missed my fellowhip. *sigh* apparently I just found out that jesus was crucified on this day. I never knew that.
