Terrible Week but Gained Good Experience
The start of the week for Deca Internationals was on April 22, 2010. In the very beginning, I was already mad at my parents because they would not let me bring my PSP on the bus. They told me I should study because I would be on the bus for 11 hours but I usually get car sick once I read books too long so I know studying would not be a choice when I was on the bus. At the end, I slept at 4am without being able to bring my PSP. I woke up at 8am to board the bus to Kentucky.
The bus ride was pretty awesome because we watched 4 movies non-stop with tons of action, guns, death, blood, and romance. They are "The Ugly Truth", "Death and the Funeral", "Hot Fuzz"(personally think is the best one) and the other one I forgot. It had definitely help pass the time because I cannot imagine sitting on the bus for 11 hours just studying.
The rest of the week was pretty normal because Kentucky was only famous for its KFC because KFC's headquarters was located there. Unfortunately, we had not come upon any KFC and I was truly disappointed. I visited a number of malls with friends but I had bought nothing because I was just poor, went to eat at restaurants and BOY, the food was expensive, slept at the Holiday Inn Hotel which had pretty bad service because we had a broken coffee boiler, broken hair dryer and our room just stinked really badly. Our room was really stinky because of a week old chicken nuggets from McDonald. We slept at 3-4am every night because of either studying or gaming or youtubing.
Last day was Prom night and I went to there with high hopes. I asked a girl twice to dance with me but all she said was she wanted to dance with her friends. That had left me heartbroken and unwanted And then when I arrived at the hotel, I realized that I had left my blazer at the prom place. I thought I was screwed but in the next morning, I found it and I was relieved.
