Corn Maze - Friday October 29, 2010

Today was fellowship day!!! But before I get on with that. It was the final day of our United Week, darn, it passed by so fast... didn't even get to enjoy to the max yet! So got my math mark back, getting a 95... IB mark is 93 and the rest, not too sure. I hope I can continue with such marks otherwise I am screwed. After that, I decided to check out Badminton club. It was filled to the brim with asians as usual and so I went to Chinese Cultural Club. We played a chinese version of "Bang!" a really awesome game.

After that it was time for Corn Maze. Before we arrived at church where we were carpooled to the corn farm. My friend got me a big box of rice cookies and 2 yogurts. I could not totally finish all that and I shared it amongst my friends. After that, we got a car-ride and basically it was just LONG. First off, we were going on Highway 401 and guess what, we were supposed to get on Highway 404 but we missed it. That added a bit more time to the clock but the most was getting lost as we got close to the corn farm. We had to call one of the management people to get to the location. The whole time, I was at the back seat getting my bum squished by people and I was bored. It was an hour and a half ride in total.

When we got there, the fun happened, we rushed into the corn farm and there was 3 different trails: one for children, one with mild difficulty and one really hard. We decided to try the really difficult one and we finished it in a pretty quick time. It was definitely a great experience in the corn farm being with a few friends and running all over the place and getting lost while we were at it. There were signs with questions about the Toronto Maple Leafs and I was just basically lost when I came to answering them. Then we decided to finish the mild one and that went by pretty fast. Lastly we decided to go in the really hard one again without any flashlights and boy we failed hard. We got lost for like 30 minutes on one trail and guess what, we had to call for help. This was just a terribly sad moment of my life and while we were waiting I was just disappointed at how fail we were. Finally the corn maze manager came to save us. He gave us two options, either to cut through the corn maze or walk along the paths. I suggested cutting through but my group didn't want to because they didn't want to get hurt. Bunch of softies!!!!!

So on our car ride home, my bladder reminded me of its fullness and I totally forgot about it during our corn maze action. Waited for like 33 minutes until we got back to the church and boy was I relieved when I emptied it!.
