Some addition to my Survival Camp

Wish my canoes were like this.. but our canoes were apparently $2000 and we wrecked them pretty bad as we went across the rapids. You can see the scratches and scrapes at the bottom of the canoe.

During our BBQ after the long long canoe paddle. We had so much good food and junk food but it was all worth it. The food was especially tasty with my empty stomach. Also there were 2 rescue dogs which were black and white. There was another one that was injured and a smaller dog which was apparently very vicious. We had music, and fun for like a few hours before we had to continue paddling to our final destination. This place was where we will get picked up and where we dropped off our canoes. As we were at the end of the BBQ, the guides rounded all of us up in a circle and started giving us nicknames. There was Hollywood, Snow White, Rapper, Hairdo, Softie, Chuck-it and many more names that they came up with on the spot. Sadly, I was named as Stud Muffin a rather insulting name because I was paired up with two girls in my canoe. Although it was fun, we were always last and the slower of all the canoe teams. Oh well, it was fun and we had good laughs together. Although we were pretty fail, since we had flipped our canoes countless times as we went down the rapids. But they were good times. Oh yea, before our BBQ we had some activities and challenges to perform. First off, we had to stand in our canoes and try and switch places with the steerer and the person in the front. It was really hard since the canoe was unstable and we were not that good at balance ourselves. Eventually, our canoe flipped and we had to scream for help. Our next challenge was to experience how it feels to have too much people in the canoe. Usually, a canoe fits 3 people but we decided to load up 7 people in a canoe. The sides of the canoe were right next to the water which was really scary because at any time or moment, water would spill into our canoe which would further sink our canoe. We had to play leap-frog with 7 people which was terribly hard and all of us tipped at any some point. These were really hard tasks and almost impossible to do.

As we reached our final destination, all our soreness and tiredness disappeared as we paddled the last 100 metres till the shores. After that it was a 3 hour ride to our homes. On the way, we stopped by a MacDonalds. Unfortunately, I was poor and I did not bring my wallet so I was jealous as people bought their MacDonald meals and a McFlurry and the $1 drinks on the bus. I continued sleeping the whole way.
