Calculus + Vectors Exam OVER - Monday, May 30, 2011

Finally, math is over for me. The math that has haunted my life, the math that has tortured me and the math that has ruined me. It is now over and I hope its over for good! Exam was okay, because I messed up with a few questions. No perfect exam for me. Oh wells, its all good since Im officially done!

After exams, we celebrated with a meal at a korean restaurant named owl of minerva. With cute korean posters and the singers on the tv, it was actually a nice place to eat korean food. I kept eating the cucumbers that came as an appetizer! Asked for 4 plates of cucumbers because it was so good!. Then we found out one of our members had a birthday today and we went out to celebrate with a cake (tiramisu! best cake in the world) but it was small and had to fit 20 candles because she was 20 years old! Then we put whip cream all over each others hair and it got all sticky. Lastly, we even sprayed the leftover on a slide and it seemed like white stuff was rolling down it.!

Prom - Thursday May 26, 2011

Prom day has arrived and it had actually turned out better than I had expected. Although the prom part was not exactly fun, the after prom was really eventful. I didn't spend like hours putting on make-up or even do my hair because its ok to be me! Anyways we had booked a limo (first-time even riding one!) but it came 30 minutes late. Pretty sad. However the limo kinda looked ugly, because it was a ford limo (the truck kind, not the car kind) but inside it was really spacious! There was a device where we could control things in the back of the car, and we tried to open the roof but it wouldn't open, it would only show some sparkly lights and that was all. LAME.

Anyways at prom there were pictures, okay food and dance. Not exactly really interesting for me and I got bored really fast. It was over pretty soon and we were on our way to Mix2 (a karaoke place!) However we were supposed to be there by 11:50 and we were late because we had to take the bus. On our way, we even stopped by Burger King but it was closed since it was around 12 ish. However the drive thru was still open and we pretended to be driving and ordered our meals. Then it started to rain and we dashed into our karaoke place to start our mad singing. Our singing went on till like 3AM and we were hella tired. When we received the receipt, we were shocked LOL because it showed $109 for 5 people. Apparently there is a flat fee that we all have to pay in addition to the original payment. I was sad to wave goodbye to my $20 bill haha. When we were outside, I accidentally stepped on barf and ran mad as hell to a puddle to wash it off. It was SO Disgusting! Then we got a ride from a friend and he drove so fast. He was driving at 120 km/h on a limit of 60 km/h road. Apparently this person had already crashed his previous BMW and is known to drive insanely. Thank god I survived!

Funny TV show - Saturday May, 21, 2011

Sooo, I came back home and my parents decided to switch on the TV to watch some chinese news. Those things are so boring because you can just read the newspaper or something thats more worthwhile. Anyways it wasn't chinese news yet but there was this show called liz and gods anniversary. Basically, its in remembrance of these four peoples contributions to the tvb/ hong kong media. There is one girl and three guys (all three of them are dressed up as woman though), and they do different stunts. Some of them are like changing the lyrics of the songs to something very funny, or changing lyrics of one person yet the lyrics from the second person of the drama still made sense. I was honestly laughing so hard because it was so funny... In the end, I kinda got distracted for like an hour. No biggie!

P.S. This is really really weird but when I drink coffee, I feel really really sleepy. Its not the opposite effect of getting energetic, but my eyes feel like it wants to close and I feel like I want to nap. Weird....

F***K YOU - Thursday May 19, 2011

Honestly why was I even born into this family. Why did I even bother living this life. Of all the families in the world, why must I live in this one?

I was working on my summatives and I really wanted to concentrate on it but my parents just keep talking and talking. I tell them to quiet down because I need to work but they say, ur not even working. Ur copying other people's work or something like cheating. Do you honestly think cheating will work in life, do you think I have never thought about this? Do you think I am that dumb to not think through things properly? Why do you always say this when you know its just gonna make ur child pissed off? Is this your way of getting me to work again because if any child heard their parents say that, it just makes them want to smash a book at their face. Of course I won't do that because its disrespectful and so I can only fume here. They have so much lack of respect here and its just so screwed up in this family. Then they go on to say some others crap in my face like university acceptance. I didn't get an offer and they laugh and say that its because I copy too much and when it came to having to write on your own for university admission, you would just fail. Holy shit, all you can do is just badmouth me, what about all the hardwork I put into my work, do u not even consider that?

Then there is the thing about OSAP. Earlier before around a month ago, they kept telling me to apply to OSAP now before its too late and they kept saying how some of their co-worker's children have applied to OSAP now. They kept bugging me for weeks and you know how parents are, if you dont go their way, they will only bug you until you listen. So I just applied to OSAP to shut them up but at that time I didn't make my choices and so I wasn't sure as to which university I should apply for OSAP for. My parents just said, apply to all your choices and I did. Then my school had this OSAP meeting (but I had already applied long before knowing this), and I found out you were supposed to only apply to OSAP when you have made your chioce. So now, I need to do all this work to undo all my other applications because I was only supposed to send in one application to only one of my university. Great work parents, you just got me into so much unnecessary trouble.

What a fool - Sunday May 15, 2011

So Im stuck at home doing my math. Then my stomach growls and I want food but Im not a good cook so I wait until my parents come home hoping that they would bring some food. Luckily, they brought home two boxes of food and I was so excited at the sight of food, especially something that is different from my parent's cooking because its just awful. Haha, maybe because I got used to it, or I just don't like their cooking style at all, too asian. So they bring back two boxes of food and two bowl of soup. I ask my parents what is it and they tell me one is onion-flavoured rice and the other is curry. So I opened one of the boxes to find out its ketchup flavored rice and it wasn't the onion-flavoured rice. I was immediately filled with disappointment. I assumed that the other box was the curry flavoured so I went ahead and chomped away at the ketchup flavoured rice. Then my parents open up the other box to find that its my favourite onion-flavoured rice. By that time, I had finished three quarters of box of rice and I was so full. I will never ever trust my parents with these things again. So Pissed!!

Then another friend called me stupid because I needed her assignment but apparently it was too big to send by email. She wanted me to bring a USB to her house to get the file. So I asked her why can't you just save it on your usb and drop it from your apartment building down to my hands where I would be at the ground. It was 21 floors and she said "thats a dumb question". WELL I was just giving a suggestion. No need to call me dumb!!

Vectors ... - Saturday May 14, 2011

Man oh man, for those of you who took calculus and vectors and who were able to pass it. CONGRATULATIONS. I think I just might fail. All this 3D dimension stuff is making my brain go wack. It was all good with 2D stuff but when it comes to 3D, its just mind-boggling because you need to imagine it. Its really hard to draw it and so, your brain has to imagine up diagrams and you just have to be abstract. This vectors course in my opinion screens out whoever wants to be an engineer/architecture because I think they need to think very abstractly. For those who don't have any physics background, its just tough. Haha, I don't have any physics or will I ever get any physics knowledge because I don't like science period. Honestly for those who have done well in vectors is just a miracle especially for those who don't have physics background. I think my mark will drop from a 94 to a 0 at this rate because I don't understand a thing. Even though I am at night school and it should be traditionally easier, I am having a hard time grasping the concept. I wonder how my day school friends are doing. One of them got a 58 on their test and his mark dropped from 90's to 80's with just one test. Poor fella.

P.S. I hate you vectors, please don't haunt me!!!

Friday - Friday May 13, 2011

End of the week already but still my work aint finished. All the summatives are still coming along and also the exams. When will all of this end? All this all-nighter and all these studying haha. Im tired of this boring stuff!

Had to go to this doctor's appointment. The awesome thing was, he put this needle like thing and it started spraying water into my ear. It was so cool because this was felt like it was gonna punch through that small little piece of skin in your ear. Haha, don't really know the name of it but it felt awesome because after washing my ear. I felt like I can hear everything again. Too bad they only washed one ear and not the other. Im stuck with having one good ear and a not so good ear.

Today my parents made me go to this thing where you learn Chinese martial arts. Well not exactly fighting wise, but like how to breathe. Apparently there is different types of breathing and its supposed to make you live longer. I went there and honestly I was bored out of my mind because our master/teacher was playing a flute for 30 minutes straight and we had to stand there with our back straight and do some gesture. I was so bored that after the first few minutes I just started reading a nearby newspaper. I heard some people even fell asleep. BUT all was worth it because after we finished we went to Galleria and got half price sushi! Haha, I get all excited when food comes!
