Today I woke up at about 10ish because it was report card day. Biked to school and somewhat ran halfway because my friend decided to jack my bike and whizzed off. What a jerk. Anyways, I arrived at school panting and ran upstairs to my homeroom to go receive my report card. When I arrived, I see a bunch of my classmates hugging the teacher goodbye because she was retiring. I was happy because she was not a good teacher anyways. But it was a long wait because they kept talking on and on and on. Then they started talking in French. I was waiting for 10 minutes before they finished and when I walked up to get my report card. She tells me that I can't receive my report card because I have not returned my biology textbook. And so I bike back home in like 15 minutes and it was uphill too. Searched my house but I could not seem to find that biology textbook so I bike back to school. I tell the teacher I cannot find it and I go to the Science Department. It turns out that I cannot find my Biology Teacher in the Science Department and I wait around for like 20 minutes. I got restless after that and decided to find the textbook on my own. Guess what!!! I was right, I had returned my textbook but they didn't cross out my name. What losers, I had to bike to school then back home and then back to school and then back home because of this textbook. The teachers would not let me get my report cards because they had a teachers meeting for 1 hour. I refuse to wait for an hour so I jacked the textbook and went back home. BUT the thing is, I need to go back to school to return the textbook on another day or else I don't get my report card LOL.
But that was not all, I rushed back home because I needed to go to Pacific Mall for my project. We had to find sponsors for our event. However, when I was at Finch Station and about to pay for my fare, I found out that I left my wallet and cell phone at home and so I ran back home to retrieve it and ran back to Finch Station. I was panting by then and sweating a lil and I boarded the bus and was on my way to Pacific Mall. When I arrived at Pmall, I was 20 minutes early and so I walked around looking for bubble tea but I couldn't find any. Finally my mentor arrived and we went to Splendid China Tower, a mall right next to Pmall and it was really empty. It was 1:30pm? and we bought bubble tea. YAY but then she started rehearsing me on how I should present myself to shop owners. I was stuttering on my first few tries because I did not know the exact words to say and I had to say it in English and Cantonese too. Great, putting my chinese to the test. Asked a few stores and I started getting the hang of it with some reminders and suggestions from my mentor on the way. I would say the first half hour was not so successful.
We decided to go to Market Village and then Pacific Mall after that. I walked for 4 hours literally and talked to so many shopowners and got rejected so many stores. I found some pretty nice stores today that sold nice necklaces. Gonna buy one soon lol. They looked really nice and I was about to buy it too. Oh well, tomorrow I will be going again. During my Pmall, visit I received my first acceptance for sponsorship. She decided to sponsor us 10 earrings and I was like so happy. My mentor was happy too because it was depressing receiving so many rejections. Yea tomorrow, I will be going to retrieve our gifts and maybe then, I will buy that necklace.
And so after like 4 hours of walking, me and my mentor decided to take a seat and rest. When I sat for like 5 minutes, my leg began to cramp up or 抽筋. Ugh. it was painful and she told me to stretch my leg. I tell her, I can't it hurts too much and I yell in pain lol. After that, I started to limp when we walked again. Ugh my leg hurt so much. I wonder how girls shop for so long. I cannot walk for 4 hours. My legs were killing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. UGH.
That's my day.
