Vectors ... - Saturday May 14, 2011

Man oh man, for those of you who took calculus and vectors and who were able to pass it. CONGRATULATIONS. I think I just might fail. All this 3D dimension stuff is making my brain go wack. It was all good with 2D stuff but when it comes to 3D, its just mind-boggling because you need to imagine it. Its really hard to draw it and so, your brain has to imagine up diagrams and you just have to be abstract. This vectors course in my opinion screens out whoever wants to be an engineer/architecture because I think they need to think very abstractly. For those who don't have any physics background, its just tough. Haha, I don't have any physics or will I ever get any physics knowledge because I don't like science period. Honestly for those who have done well in vectors is just a miracle especially for those who don't have physics background. I think my mark will drop from a 94 to a 0 at this rate because I don't understand a thing. Even though I am at night school and it should be traditionally easier, I am having a hard time grasping the concept. I wonder how my day school friends are doing. One of them got a 58 on their test and his mark dropped from 90's to 80's with just one test. Poor fella.

P.S. I hate you vectors, please don't haunt me!!!

Friday - Friday May 13, 2011

End of the week already but still my work aint finished. All the summatives are still coming along and also the exams. When will all of this end? All this all-nighter and all these studying haha. Im tired of this boring stuff!

Had to go to this doctor's appointment. The awesome thing was, he put this needle like thing and it started spraying water into my ear. It was so cool because this was felt like it was gonna punch through that small little piece of skin in your ear. Haha, don't really know the name of it but it felt awesome because after washing my ear. I felt like I can hear everything again. Too bad they only washed one ear and not the other. Im stuck with having one good ear and a not so good ear.

Today my parents made me go to this thing where you learn Chinese martial arts. Well not exactly fighting wise, but like how to breathe. Apparently there is different types of breathing and its supposed to make you live longer. I went there and honestly I was bored out of my mind because our master/teacher was playing a flute for 30 minutes straight and we had to stand there with our back straight and do some gesture. I was so bored that after the first few minutes I just started reading a nearby newspaper. I heard some people even fell asleep. BUT all was worth it because after we finished we went to Galleria and got half price sushi! Haha, I get all excited when food comes!

Allergies - Thursday May 12, 2011

Gahhh I hate you allergies. When allergies start coming, I know spring has actually arrived. My eyes get so watery and itchy because of this stupid allergic reaction to pollen. Why must you make my eyes so itchy. And also my ears are apparently the oily kind where its not rocks or hard pieces that stick in the ear. It’s the oily kind and when I wake up in the morning, my ear always feels like there is a bubble in it. Then I feel like I have a hearing loss because I can only use 1 ear to hear things. Thank god im going to the doctor to fix all this !!

What should I do? - Monday May 9, 2011

Lost in this open world. One lonely soul treks on this land. He's helpless and heartbroken. He is constantly reminded of that painful past and cannot move on because it lingers by. This feeling of hurt, pain, betrayal has scarred his life and he is helpless when it comes to love. His feelings have been bruised and tortured and he feels that love can never befall upon him because its never worked out for him. Neither will it be happening in the future. He has no looks, talent or even any skill that can attract girls. All he can give is his efforts and constant hardwork. When people put 1 hour of work into their projects, he would put 5. Its just a constant working working working and working for me. Although I try my best, I can never actually be the best. There is always some people that beats me and its really a total letdown. I try not to compare myself to these people but then, there is honestly no motivation for me to do anything now. Like what my parents say, im gonna end up as a hobo. I guess that's true, nothing works out no matter what I do so really I just want to give up. I dont trust love anymore because it has hurt me so much times

But at the same time, there is still small fire in me that really wants to get brighter and get bigger. But there is always this bucket of water that keeps drowning my fire. Sighhh what must I do to and what should I do... All I have ever wanted is to stay with the person that I have liked and to share good times with them. Honestly, I will give up everything for her but I guess things like this never happen.

After some thought, I think I will always hide my true feelings and never ever reveal them ever again because it has caused so much pain for me and for others. I don't want this pain to surround me anymore so I will promise myself to just keep looking forward and never ever show this weak side of me ever again! NO MORE WEAKLING. Im gonna grow and get stronger no matter what.

Fun Friday Night - Friday May 6, 2011

So, its already Friday and I had my fellowship session which was Guys Night Out. It was a fun program where all the guys hang out together and do some fun stuff or just stupid stuff.
BUT I ENJOYED every moment of it, from the beginning to all the goodbyes!! It was just happiness and funny!

So I was subwaying there when I met a friend going there as well. I decided to take the lazy mans way and go on ttc while he roller bladed for like 30 minutes. Poor boy but the problem was, his roller blades had no brakes. It was so funny because we were going down a steep downhill slope and he had LOTS of trouble going down. He had to run on the grass to slow himself because there was no other way to stop.

Then when we got there, there was piles and piles of bread and wieners. LIKE A BIG BIG PILE like over 80 wieners on a dish for like 20 guys. LOL. they expected each guy to eat 4 hot dogs. I could only eat 3 unfortunately and there were tons leftover. All of us tried to stuff ourselves because we didn't want to waste it and apparently we fell into the organizers trap. They had wanted us to eat food before playing their game because usually games were all about running and getting there first. With all our stomaches bulging with food, we were unable to run and so it was not a competition of strength but of the mind. We had to try and get the most points without moving much. The tasks for this game were just so ridiculous.

I shall list some:
Get a girl's phone number in their writing on a napkin
Take a picture of a Spanish man in a bumblee suit
Take a picture of what's inside the garbage can at McDonalds
Take a picture of a car that costs over $94,028
Write down the price of the most expensive package of cat food at Loblaws

They are just some but these tasks are so FUNNY and RANDOM.
It was so fun doing it too!

First Day of Work - Monday May 2, 2011

Today was officially my first day of employment. First-time getting a paid job yet all these interesting and challenging moments happened before me. Basically, I was skipping my school day for this first job because I was working for the Federal Elections as a registration officer. A government job with just barely any experience whatsoever! Though it was good experience, I was sacrificing a lot because before me I have 2 tests coming up within the week and summatives. In federal elections, I had to work for 13 hours non-stop and then come home all tired to face my homework.

Anyways I woke up early in the morning, I consider early because I usually wake up even later and leave my house at 7:45 to find myself end up at my polling area at 8:28am 2 minutes before I lost my job. Usually it would have taken 15 minutes to reach this area but I ended up getting lost and had to run around 2 blocks trying to find my area before deciding to stop at a local store and ask for directions. This stupidness almost cost me my job = $200 LOL. Thank god I ended up there.

There, the excitement started. We were all hyped up to welcome the voters as we opened up our station. It was silence for like 5 hours LMAO. like COMPLETE SILENCE. No one came, nothing happened and we were bored. Some dude decided to do push-ups and others began to dance. Funny because they were old men and women like ppl in their 60-70's... Weird bunch of ppl I suppose!

Then when rush hour began, people started to rush in. Then there was there was this noise that was humming and everyone started looking in that direction. It was some constant humm so no one could neglect it and apparently this lady was breastfeeding... like a machine that was taking the milk... I was like WHAT THA EFFF!?! LIKE IN A GOVERNMENT JOB!? WITH LIKE SO MANY PEOPLE AROUND!? She did it for 15 minutes straight before she had to go and take the machine off. There was such a long line of people waiting for her. It was so jokes too. Though the people waiting in line didn't know what the person was doing... but all of us workers knew what was happening. Then the table beside me with all old men and women started talking about all the benefits of mama's milk than artificial milk. I told them, I didn't need to know about this and they said, well, ur learning a lot from a government job so you should understand learn some more too. I was like......... wow. IM 17. I DO NOT NEED TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS.

But that wasn't it. As people came rushing in, there were all kinds of obnoxious and ridiculous people who just couldn't follow the government policy. Basically we needed some kind of identification that had a photo and an address which could not be the voters card. There were so many times where this dispute happened where they only brought a voters card or something that only showed a photo without any address. Thank god I didn't have to deal with this but the information officer had to. I was only at the sidelines watching and laughing. LOL.
Anyways, this lady had came and had this dispute and then said forget it, Im not doing this and just walked away. There was this old chinese dude who came and started yelling at our information officer who was caucasian in chinese and he was just baffled. Kept repeating, please take out ur identification while the other had no idea what he was saying. It was such a funny scene. At other times, there was these people who just started swearing at him. After they left unsatifisfied still, the information officer was like... why are they giving me attitude. Im just doing my job and Im getting yelled at so much. I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD!!!!!!!!!!!! Funny how there are so many people who don't read things properly and just get frustrated and unleash their anger on our poor fellow.

Anyways thats about it.!! GOOD EXPERIENCE!

but my tongue has got a blister from trying to get the food stuck in my mouth too much. It hurts so much right now!!!

Math Sucks - Saturday April 30, 2011

Man, I look at the calendar and its already May. Oh boy!!! Almost the end of school and stress haha. Anyways today was a long day of math or actually vectors. My dad had to leave on some business trip and so I would have to self-study everything. But there are always some questions that I don't really understand so I have devoted over 7 hours to learning all the course material before my test and doing the questions so that my dad can teach me before he leaves.
Anyways vectors is honestly such a hard concept to grasp because I'm not the type that can think so abstractly though it is gradually getting easier and easier for me. I still prefer more of an algebraic method of calculus way more though. Another thought that I had was what I would do in University level math. I am not sure if I have to take Calculus in University but I'm starting to worry haha. No wonder my teacher calls me a worry-fart, always worrying about things... but I'm just actually thinking ahead!!! NOT A WORRY FART!!! Such an insult.

Anyways another thing I found that I hate about my parents. They never really listen to anything they say and take back things really fast. Soo, I had gotten an electric toothbrush for my christmas present and I had treasured it. Then my mom says, why don't I let her use it because she's too cheap to buy another one. I am like WTH, you got me this as a present and now you want it back? Isn't it a little too late!? and soo you didn't really mean what you said before? She's like are you sure I gave this for your christmas present? I was just wowwww.. you must be kidding me. Like honestly they lose so much braincells LMAO.
So before when I wanted an electric toothbrush, my parents were totally against it because you can buy like 5 regular toothbrushes for an electric and it wasn't worth it. I was like it's alright since I want it and I really do use it. And now she wants to use an electric toothbrush because her co-workers tell her how electric toothbrushes are really really useful because it spins and it brushes off things that ur usual toothbrush can't do. She is so gullable LOL. so yea. Pissed at my mom AGAIN.
